Boulevard® at Seminar!

This year Main Street Software, Inc. staff attended the US Seminar in Dallas and enjoyed meeting new customers, catching up with those who have been with us for awhile, and making new friends. What an energetic group you are! Thank you for the laughs, the love, and the loyalty!

As is usual, we could hardly beat the heat in Dallas and attendees were happy to shop, sit a spell with us, and enjoy a demonstration of Boulevard. Customer Service Manager, Kennedy, attended in Dallas along with long-time customer, Betty, and Customer Service Representatives Christy, Tami, Tricia, and Mindy. Boulevard 2011 was on display as we showed how to personalize your profiles with a picture, use the new memorized expense feature, add a family name for mailing labels, and add explanations and expiration dates to the Edit Physical Count dialog.

Attendees who stopped by took away a goodie bag complete with every woman’s best friend – chocolate! Many of you also took advantage of our cash & carry postcard special offer. Don’t worry – if you missed out on yours, you can still order our exclusive and highly professional designs in sets of 10 from the web. Your best deal is our Prepaid Postcard Service, however. Let us mail them for you! You will see easily why LuAnn recommends using our postcards as they epitomize professionalism and will definitely stand out in the recipient’s mailbox.

Of course those who stopped by also got to put a face to the voice they hear over the phone plus pick up a few tips to boost business when returning home. First, I want to THANK YOU SO MUCH – I just re-signed a consultant who was in my unit about 10 years ago. I went over BLVD with her, and she decided to go ahead and start right, so she ordered it. She told me that someone called her, because they noticed that she had purchased one ten years ago; and changed her order so she didn’t have to purchase it all over again. She was able to get some other things, and it still cost her less. She was SOOOO happy! And of course, since I ALWAYS tell new consultants how awesome BLVD and you all are, I was incredibly pleased that she got first hand experience of how you do the “and then some”!!!

For this reason, our customer service agents are located in the US, have consistent hours that you can rely on, and will assist you with your Boulevard software for the lifetime of its use. Some days we even have bilingual (in Spanish) representatives available, too.

Not only are our representatives Boulevard experts, but they know your business, too. Some are consultants, and those who aren’t go through our version of Mary Kay boot camp so they are just as knowledgeable about trends, practices, and products. MK BootcampOur office is available Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm Pacific Time. You can call or email and we’ll respond as quickly as possible. Additional help is offered, too. For instance, your program comes with a comprehensive Help menu. This and our user’s guide are written by a professional technical writer to ensure quality and accuracy.

Main Street Software DVDsFinally, LuAnn provides a presence for you, the user. She ensures you have a visual reference in her Getting Started DVD and Boulevard Extras DVDs. Extras give you the extra edge, tying your business to Boulevard software and offering tips of the trade to enhance what you’re already doing. Not only does she record these DVDs periodically, she spends many months out of the year traveling to your city to provide comprehensive three hour training sessions, digging deep into Boulevard’s functionality.

As a Virtual Assistant customer, this service has been a huge blessing to my business.  Dealing with numbers has never been my forte and for years, I struggled trying to keep up with my books.  Nothing would put me to sleep faster.  In my head, I knew how my business was performing and what my monthly expenses were, I just didn’t have anything on paper.  I use my virtual assistant mostly as a way for me to keep my business accounting in order.  On top of that, my virtual assistant inputs all the information I would overlook to put into my Boulevard program, such as wish list items, complete profile information, uploading product orders, and even doing my product replacements for me.  This service has made me feel more in control of my financial business so I can focus on what I do best:  selling our incredible product.
