In October of 1983, LuAnn Darling began her career selling Mary Kay as a Mary Kay® Independent Beauty Consultant. At Seminar 1992, LuAnn and her husband Erik looked for software to help manage her business. What she purchased did not perform as promised and did not provide adequate support. So she and Erik, a software developer, designed Boulevard. In 1993, Main Street Software was born. When the first version of Boulevard software debuted, it was the first Windows® program for the Mary Kay® industry.
Main Street Software and the Boulevard software user community grows
Boulevard changed everything, not just for LuAnn, but for Beauty Consultants worldwide. In 1998, by popular demand, LuAnn began offering business management training sessions using this proprietary tool. Today, tens of thousands of Mary Kay Beauty Consultants, Directors, and Nationals are now profiting from “the beauty of Boulevard.”

Training dedicated to all aspects of business management
During her training sessions, LuAnn, with her many years as an active Mary Kay® Beauty Consultant, teaches Consultants and Directors how to properly manage their Mary Kay® careers: time, money, inventory, customers, and team/unit members. Current customers learn how to fully utilize the powers of Boulevard; Consultants and Directors who are not currently using Boulevard have the chance to see what it has to offer. We encourage anyone serious about their Mary Kay career to attend a session. Office assistants are also encouraged to attend.
